How does SourceAnywhere handle large number of concurrent connections?
SourceAnywhere is designed to work equally well for small and large development teams. Many of our customers have large development teams, and SourceAnywhere handles large number of concurrent connections smoothly.
The throughput of SourceAnywhere is pretty high, especially when you have high end hardware. Also, SourceAnywhere uses very advanced cache mechanism. For most operations, if the information is retrieved once, the info will be cached in the memory and the result will be sent to the client directly. This way, the workload on the SQL Server and hard disk on the SourceAnywhere server are greatly reduced.
