How to change the license?

For Dynamic .NET TWAIN v6.x and lower versions only, for V7.x+ please refer to http://developer.dynamsoft.com/dnt/kb

Since v4.3 of Dynamic .NET TWAIN, you are able to use property LicenseKeys to set the licenses. Please note that since version 6.0, the licensing tool can't be used to set the licenses - you need to set it/them in your code.

// Here XXX are licenses;
dynamicDotNetTwain1.LicenseKeys = "XXX";

If you have multiple licenses, please remember to use semicolon to separate them.

// Here XXX, YYY are licenses;
dynamicDotNetTwain1.LicenseKeys = "XXX;YYY";

If you’re using version 4 or above, you can also set the licenses in the way below:

dynamicDotNetTwain1 = new DynamicDotNetTwain("XXX;YYY");

For .Net TWAIN version 5.x or lower,
 you can change the licenses in the Licensing Tool. In achieve that, please follow the steps below.

  1. Open Licensing Tool.

    It can be found at: Start -> All Programs -> Dynamic .NET TWAIN (version number) -> Licensing Tool if you installed Dynamic .NET TWAIN (Since DNT v5.4, the licensing tool is integrated into Dynamic .NET TWAIN SDK.exe. Typically, it is under C:\Program Files (x86)\Dynamsoft\Dynamic .NET TWAIN {Version Number}).

    NOTE: Since v4.0 of Dynamic .NET TWAIN, we provide some add-ons (Barcode, Annotation, OCR and Webcam). To enable the feature of a specific add-on, please add the license to licensing tool together with the basic TWAIN scanning license.

    You may double check the licensing info in the file DynamicDotNetTwain.lic under C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ on 64-bit machines or C:\Windows\System32\ on 32-bit machines.

  2. Delete the old license.
  3. Add the new license.
  4. Click Close on the "Dynamic Dot TWAIN License Manager" window.
  5. Rebuild the solution in Visual Studio.
