If the login user is not allowed to download the ActiveX control, you can take one of the tricks
below to solve this issue:
1. Use the Administrator account first to
download the control, after that, other users of this machine can use the
control.
2. Distribute the dll called DynamicWebTwainCtrl.dll to all client machines. Copy it to
"C:\Windows\System32" and register it using the command "regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\DynamicWebTwainCtrl.dll".
3. Install Dynamic Web TWAIN on all client
machines.
Please NOTE that tricks 2 and 3 usually needs
Administrator privilege too. So trick 1 is recommended.
