Symptoms:

When you generate the LPK file using lpk_tool.exe or try running the TWAIN application, you may receive the following error message:

The behavior occurs when you use a trial license for the full version of Dynamic Web TWAIN.

Resolutions:

The problem may occur in the following conditions:

The error occurs when generating the LPK file.
The error occurs when running a web application.
The error occurs when developing a desktop application.

The error occurs when generating the LPK file.

1. If you are using the full version of Dynamic Web TWAIN (DWT), please make sure that the license in Licensing Tool is for the full version. Licensing Tool can be found at "start -> All Programs -> Dynamic Web TWAIN (version number) -> Licensing Tool". Click here for more information about how to change the license in Licensing Tool.

2. If you are using the trial version of DWT and there are two "DynamicWebTWAIN Class" in the LPK control list, please go to "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files", remove DynamicWebTwain Class and create the LPK file again.
