Error message: You are attempting to open a solution or project that was not added to source control using Microsoft Visual Studio.

Symptom:

When you attempt to open a solution from SourceAnywhere Hosted through Visual Studio, you may get the following error message:



Cause:

The solution you attempt to open was added to source control through SourceAnywhere Hosted Client.

Resolution:

Please follow the steps below to bind the solution to SourceAnywhere Hosted:

• Open the solution from your local disk.

• Select Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted as the current source control plug-in at "Visual Studio -> Tools -> Options -> Source Control".

• Bind the solution to SourceAnywhere Hosted. You can go to "File -> Source Control -> Change Source Control" and click Bind to bind the solution to source control.
