How to manage user rights in SCM Anywhere Standalone?

You can manage the source control & issue tracking permissions of users per team project in SCM Anywhere Standalone Admin Explorer. To open it, click menu View or Admin and click Admin Explorer.

  • Go to Admin Explorer->Groups and create some groups, for example, based on different job functions (developers, test, support etc). Managing groups is more efficient than managing large numbers of users individually.
  • Click the Members button in the Groups window to organize the users into the proper group.
  • Add the users/groups who need to access a team project as the members of the team project. More info
  • Assign users/groups the specific source control permissions (Read, Check Out, Add, Delete etc) on each folder and issue tracking permissions (View/Edit/Delete Issues, Manage Public Queries).
