The leading provider of version control solution and TWAIN SDK

Should I use SCM Anywhere MSSCCI Plug-in or VSPackage in Visual Studio?

Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere provides MSSCCI Plug-in to support all MSSCCI compatible IDE integrations. The plug-in is suitable for use in development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio .NET, Rational Rapid Developer, Delphi, etc.

In addition to Visual Studio MSSCCI Plug-in, Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere provides VSPackage which is specifically designed for Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010. VSPackage fully integrates with Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010, so that you can do virtually all your tasks including version control, bug/issue tracking and management without leaving the IDE.

For developers using VS 6.0/2003, MSSCCI Plug-in is the only choice.

For developers using VS 2005/2008/2010, both MSSCCI Plug-in and VSPackage can be used. We recommend you use VSPackage for its better integration with Visual Studio. Also, the performance of VSPackage is better than that of MSSCCI Plug-in.

Also, SCM Anywhere provides a Team Provider plug-in for Eclipse as well as a plug-in for Macromedia Studio.
