This article indicates how to upgrade Dynamic Web TWAIN Plug-in from a lower version to a higher version. If you are using the ActiveX edition, please click here.
Please follow these steps to upgrade Dynamic Web TWAIN Plug-in to the latest version:
1. Remove the old version of Dynamic Web TWAIN Plug-in completely from your computer.
2. Install the latest version of Dynamic Web TWAIN. What's new Download
Update the Trial license in "Licensing Tool" if needed. Licensing Tool can be found at "Start -> All Programs -> Dynamic Web TWAIN <version number> -> Licensing Tool".
3. Replace the old XPI file with the new XPI and (for version 6.1 or above) replace original EXE with MSI file on your web server. XPI and MSI files can be found in the installation folder of Dynamic Web TWAIN.
If you are using Chrome, Safari or Opera, MSI is recommended for easier deployment. More info
